This feature calculates and displays historical averages of your financial activity based on the data you have entered into the App. These averages are for informational purposes only and should not be considered a prediction or forecast of future financial behavior. The accuracy of these averages is entirely dependent on the completeness and correctness of the data you provide.
This tool provides a basic savings plan based on the goal amount, initial savings, and target date you input. The calculations are purely mathematical and do not account for financial variables such as interest, inflation, or changes in income. The plan is a guideline for informational purposes and is not a guarantee that you will reach your goal.
This feature is designed to provide an estimate of your spendable funds by subtracting your bill set-asides, savings, and other user-entered amounts from a total bank balance you provide. Its accuracy is entirely dependent on the correctness and timeliness of the data you enter, including your bank balance and any pending transactions. The result is an estimate for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying this information with your financial institution(s) before making any financial decisions.
While you may set due dates for bills, Ledgerlyst is not a notification or alert service. You are solely responsible for managing and paying your bills on time. The App does not provide reminders or notifications for upcoming due dates, and we are not liable for any missed payments.
This feature provides a speculative estimate based on user-inputted data and generalized calculations. It is intended for educational purposes to highlight potential areas of untracked spending and is not a financial plan or a guarantee of actual savings.
The App may notify you of months with an extra pay period ("bonus week") as a helpful reminder. You are solely responsible for understanding how this impacts your budget and for using this feature correctly. Ledgerlyst and its developers are not responsible for any discrepancies, calculation mistakes, or financial decisions made based on this notification.
Interactive Demo: The interactive demo located on the Ledgerlyst website (https://ledgerlyst.com/demo) is a simplified, pre-scripted demonstration. Its appearance and functionality may differ in certain details from the actual application. The developers and Ledgerlyst are not responsible for any misunderstandings regarding the app's features based on this specific online demonstration.
Ledgerlyst does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or financial data to our servers. All data is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your information.
Furthermore, you acknowledge that the App’s data export feature is limited and is not a complete backup of all information. The export includes bills and savings data but excludes records of individual receipts, money spent, and paycheck history. You are solely responsible for independently tracking and backing up any data not included in the export file.
Exporting Your Data: If you choose to export your App data to a third-party service like Google Drive, or anywhere outside of the Ledgerlyst app, you are responsible for the security and privacy of that data. Ledgerlyst has no control over how your data is handled by third-party services or any other methods of storage.
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledgerlyst and its creators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information or calculations generated by the App.
You agree to use Ledgerlyst at your own risk. By using this App, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ledgerlyst and its creators from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or reliance on its information.
