These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ledgerlyst mobile application (“App”), the Ledgerlyst website at https://ledgerlyst.com/, and the website’s interactive demo (collectively, the “Services”). In these Terms, “Ledgerlyst,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the Ledgerlyst Services.
By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
For existing App users, revisions to previously accepted Terms are subject to the notice and transition provisions in Section 13.

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Subject to these Terms, the license restrictions described below, and applicable app-store rules, Ledgerlyst grants you a limited right to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial financial organization.
You may not misuse the Services; interfere with their operation or security; use them unlawfully; or copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except where applicable law or an open-source license expressly permits it.
Ledgerlyst is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is intended to help you organize bills, savings, receipts, paychecks, and other personal-finance information.
Ledgerlyst is not a bank, lender, financial advisor, financial planner, accountant, attorney, tax professional, fiduciary, payment processor, or bill-payment service.
Nothing in the Services is professional financial, investment, accounting, legal, or tax advice.
The Services do not connect to your financial institution, verify balances or transactions, move money, pay bills, or guarantee any financial result. You are responsible for checking all information against your financial accounts and consulting qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
The accuracy and usefulness of App features depend on the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the information you enter.
The payoff calculator provides estimates that may not include fees, penalties, compounding methods, variable rates, payment timing, lender-specific rules, or other relevant factors. Results may differ from statements or payoff quotes issued by a financial institution.
Financial averages are based only on the historical data you entered. They are not predictions, forecasts, or guarantees of future behavior or results.
The savings goal calculator provides a mathematical guideline based on the goal amount, initial savings, and target date you enter. It does not account for factors such as interest, inflation, taxes, fees, or changes in income or expenses.
The money available calculator estimates spendable funds from user-entered balances and amounts. It may not reflect pending transactions, holds, fees, timing differences, or other activity. Verify the result with your financial institution before spending or transferring funds.
Ledgerlyst is not a bill-payment, reminder, or guaranteed alert service. Any due dates, payment indicators, bonus-week notices, or other notices displayed in the App are organizational aids only.
You remain responsible for paying bills on time and confirming your pay schedule.
This feature provides a speculative estimate based on user-entered data and generalized calculations. It is not a financial plan or a guarantee of actual savings.
The interactive demo is a simplified, pre-scripted demonstration. It does not create an account, perform real financial transactions, or reproduce every feature or detail of the App. The App may look or function differently.
Ledgerlyst may offer “Premium” features through different purchase options depending on the platform.
On the Apple App Store, Ledgerlyst Premium is currently offered as an automatically renewing subscription for $0.99 USD per month. Eligible new subscribers may be offered a free trial before the paid subscription begins.
On Google Play, Ledgerlyst Lifetime Premium is currently offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase for $0.99 USD.
The price, billing terms, free-trial availability, trial duration, and any applicable taxes are displayed by the applicable app store before you confirm a purchase or subscription. Ledgerlyst does not directly process or receive your full payment-card details.
If you begin Ledgerlyst Premium through the Apple App Store, eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial if one is offered by Ledgerlyst through Apple at the time of enrollment.
Free-trial eligibility and availability are determined through the Apple App Store and may depend on your Apple account, prior subscription or trial history, region, and other Apple requirements.
Unless canceled before the trial ends, an Apple free trial automatically converts to the paid Ledgerlyst Premium subscription at the price displayed by Apple when you enroll.
After the trial or any paid subscription period begins, the subscription automatically renews each month unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s subscription-management requirements.
Your Apple account is charged according to the price and billing terms displayed by Apple at the time of enrollment, purchase, or renewal.
You may manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple account settings.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not ordinarily terminate Premium access before the end of the current trial or paid subscription period, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law.
If you purchase Ledgerlyst Lifetime Premium through Google Play, the current offering is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase for $0.99 USD and does not automatically renew.
Ledgerlyst Lifetime Premium does not require a recurring subscription.
“Lifetime Premium” describes the one-time, non-recurring Premium entitlement and does not constitute a guarantee of perpetual development, support, compatibility, distribution, or availability of the App.
After a valid purchase is completed, Lifetime Premium access may be restored through the Google account associated with the original purchase, subject to Google Play availability and records.
Apple and Google provide the distribution, billing, purchase, subscription, and account-management platforms through which Ledgerlyst may be obtained or purchased.
Ledgerlyst, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the App’s content and functionality and for any maintenance, support, or claims relating to Ledgerlyst that Ledgerlyst chooses to provide or is required to provide by applicable law, except to the extent an applicable app-store term or applicable law provides otherwise.
Purchases, subscriptions, free trials, renewals, billing, payment authorization, cancellations, refunds, restoration, and store-account activity are handled through the applicable app store and are also governed by that store’s applicable terms and policies.
You must comply with applicable Apple, Google, device-provider, network-provider, and other third-party terms when using the App.
Nothing in these Terms changes or overrides rights or obligations that apply under Apple’s or Google’s terms or under applicable law.
Refund requests may be submitted through the applicable app store unless applicable law requires otherwise. Approval is determined under the applicable store’s policies and applicable law.
A qualifying Premium purchase or subscription may generally be restored using the same app-store account and platform associated with the original transaction.
Restoration may depend on store availability, account status, device compatibility, subscription or purchase status, and the applicable store’s records.
Purchases and subscriptions are not guaranteed to transfer between Apple and Google platforms.
Premium features may evolve as the App is updated. Ledgerlyst does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App, any particular Premium feature, or compatibility with every device or operating-system version.
For an App obtained through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom EULA is made applicable through App Store Connect.
These Terms supplement applicable app-store terms and do not override rights or obligations that cannot legally be changed.
Ledgerlyst is licensed, not sold.
Subject to these Terms, applicable law, and applicable app-store rules, Ledgerlyst grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use.
All rights in and to Ledgerlyst that are not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by Ledgerlyst and its licensors.
Purchasing, subscribing to, restoring, or otherwise obtaining access to Ledgerlyst Premium does not transfer ownership of the App, its source code, software, design, graphics, branding, features, or other intellectual property to you.
An Apple Premium subscription grants you the right to access and use applicable Premium features while your subscription or qualifying trial remains active, subject to these Terms and applicable Apple terms.
A Google Play Lifetime Premium purchase grants you the right to use applicable Premium features without a recurring subscription, subject to these Terms, applicable Google Play terms, continued availability of the App, device compatibility, and any rights that cannot legally be limited.
Neither a subscription license nor a Lifetime Premium entitlement grants you any ownership interest in Ledgerlyst or any right to reproduce, resell, redistribute, modify, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.
Except where expressly permitted by these Terms, applicable law, applicable app-store rules, or an applicable open-source license, you may not:
Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, or make the App or any substantial portion of it available to another person except as necessary for ordinary authorized use.
Sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, assign, transfer, or otherwise provide the App or your license rights to another person or entity.
Modify, alter, adapt, translate, port, or create derivative works based on the App or any portion of it.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, attempt to derive or discover source code, underlying algorithms, structure, or internal operation of the App.
Extract, reuse, reproduce, or redistribute Ledgerlyst source code, compiled code, interface elements, graphics, designs, text, branding, or other proprietary materials for use in another application, product, or service.
Circumvent, disable, bypass, interfere with, or attempt to defeat technical restrictions, Premium-access controls, purchase verification, licensing controls, security measures, or other protections used by the App.
Remove, obscure, alter, or interfere with copyright notices, trademark notices, ownership notices, license notices, attribution notices, or other proprietary markings contained in or associated with the App.
Use Ledgerlyst's protected source code, proprietary graphics, branding, or other protected materials without authorization to create, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit an unauthorized copy or derivative version of Ledgerlyst, except where permitted by applicable law or an applicable license.
Your license is for personal use of Ledgerlyst as provided by Ledgerlyst.
You may not package, bundle, host, market, sell, license, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit Ledgerlyst, any unauthorized copy of Ledgerlyst, or any modified or derivative version of Ledgerlyst.
You may not represent that you own, created, developed, or are authorized to distribute Ledgerlyst unless Ledgerlyst has provided you with express written permission.
The restrictions in this Section do not override rights that applicable law expressly gives you and that cannot legally be waived.
The App may include open-source or third-party components governed by separate licenses. Those licenses control your rights with respect to those specific components, and nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to you under an applicable open-source license.
Any use of Ledgerlyst outside the scope of the license granted by these Terms may result in termination of your license and right to use the App, subject to applicable law and applicable app-store requirements.
Termination of your Ledgerlyst license does not transfer ownership of the App to you and does not authorize you to retain, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or otherwise exploit unauthorized copies of Ledgerlyst.
Ledgerlyst does not operate a server that collects or stores the personal financial records you enter into the App.
App records are stored locally on your device.
The App may communicate with Apple or Google to query products, process a purchase, and restore purchase status. This does not send your user-entered financial records to Ledgerlyst servers.
You are responsible for your device security, access controls, backups, and exported files.
Device authentication features, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics, are provided by your device and operating-system provider and may be unavailable or fail.
The current export feature creates a readable JSON backup of the currently selected local profile.
Depending on the App version, that backup may include:
Each profile must be exported separately.
Future versions may change the backup format or included fields.
Exported files contain sensitive information in readable form.
Once you save, share, import, or upload an exported file outside the App—including through a file provider or service such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive—the destination provider’s terms and privacy practices apply.
Ledgerlyst does not control third-party storage or sharing services.
Importing replaces or changes local data and should be performed only with a trusted, compatible backup.
The Services may link to or interact with third-party services, including Apple, Google, app stores, document-hosting services, email applications, device file providers, and websites.
Those services are independent from Ledgerlyst and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Ledgerlyst does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, content, billing decisions, or data practices.
A link or compatibility reference does not imply endorsement.
Except for third-party and open-source components, the Services—including Ledgerlyst branding, original text, graphics, user-interface design, and software—are owned by Ledgerlyst or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership to you or grant permission to use Ledgerlyst names, logos, or branding outside ordinary use of the Services.
The App includes software and may include fonts or other materials provided under separate open-source or third-party licenses.
Those license terms govern the applicable components and may permit rights beyond these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted under an applicable open-source license.
Apple, App Store, Google Play, Google Drive, iCloud, Face ID, Touch ID, Android, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Ledgerlyst may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services, subject to applicable law.
Updates may be needed for security, compatibility, or continued operation.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may remove the App from your device.
Your right to use the Services ends if you materially violate these Terms.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.
Ledgerlyst may provide maintenance, updates, or support for the App but does not guarantee that any particular level, frequency, or duration of maintenance or support will be available, except where required by applicable law.
Purchase of a subscription or Lifetime Premium entitlement does not create an obligation for Ledgerlyst to provide indefinite technical support, updates, new features, compatibility with future devices or operating systems, or continued availability of any particular feature.
The App may receive updates that add, modify, replace, restrict, or remove features, functionality, interfaces, compatibility, or other aspects of the Services.
An update may not preserve every prior feature or function. Ledgerlyst does not guarantee that any particular feature, design, or functionality will remain available indefinitely, subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot legally be limited.
Ledgerlyst may, at its discretion, reduce, suspend, or permanently discontinue development, maintenance, updates, support, distribution, or availability of the App or any feature of the Services, subject to applicable law.
Purchase of Ledgerlyst Premium, including a Google Play Lifetime Premium entitlement, does not guarantee that the App will continue to be developed, updated, supported, distributed through an app store, or remain compatible with future devices, operating systems, app-store requirements, or third-party services.
“Lifetime Premium” refers to the non-recurring nature of the applicable Premium entitlement and does not mean or guarantee the lifetime of the purchaser, perpetual operation of the App, perpetual app-store availability, indefinite development or support, or compatibility with future hardware or software.
If development or distribution of Ledgerlyst is discontinued, users may continue using any version of the App that remains lawfully installed and functional on their device, to the extent technically possible and permitted by applicable app-store rules and law.
Ledgerlyst is not responsible for loss of availability or compatibility resulting from future operating-system changes, device changes, app-store requirements, third-party platform changes, removal of the App from an app store, or discontinuation of development, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded or limited.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
LEDGERLYST DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AND AVAILABILITY.
LEDGERLYST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT CALCULATIONS, DATA, EXPORTS, IMPORTS, PURCHASE RESTORATION, OR OTHER FEATURES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DEVICE.
No oral or written information, statement, support response, documentation, recommendation, or advice provided by Ledgerlyst or its representatives creates any warranty, guarantee, or contractual obligation unless expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEDGERLYST AND ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, MISSED PAYMENTS, LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEDGERLYST’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LEDGERLYST THROUGH THE APPLICABLE APP STORE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$10.00.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some limitations above may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ledgerlyst and its owners and developers from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services or material violation of these Terms.
This section does not require you to indemnify anyone for their own fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.
Ledgerlyst may revise these Terms as the Services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
Where required by law or appropriate for a material change, Ledgerlyst will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance.
Your continued use after the revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms govern the Ledgerlyst Services, including the Website and interactive demo.
For existing App users who previously accepted an earlier version of the Terms, material changes to their contractual rights or obligations are not intended to apply retroactively to their prior use or purchases.
Ledgerlyst intends to present the revised App Terms for review and acceptance beginning with App version 1.5.8. Users who have not received the required notice or provided any legally required acceptance will remain subject to the applicable Terms they previously accepted, to the extent permitted by law.
Installing or updating to version 1.5.8 does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of revised Terms where affirmative acceptance is required.
Nothing in this provision changes existing purchase entitlements, overrides applicable Apple or Google terms, or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory rights or protections provided by the law of your place of residence.
Before starting a formal dispute, you and Ledgerlyst agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve it by contacting the other party, unless applicable law gives you the right to proceed immediately.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Ledgerlyst’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without Ledgerlyst’s consent.
Ledgerlyst may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable law.
The App and Services may be subject to United States and other applicable export-control, trade, and sanctions laws.
You may not export, re-export, transfer, distribute, access, or use the App in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws or regulations.
You represent that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of a country, territory, person, or entity where providing the App would be prohibited by applicable law, and that you are not a prohibited or restricted party under applicable United States government sanctions or export-control lists.
You may not use the App for any purpose prohibited by applicable export-control, sanctions, or trade laws.
Where applicable law imposes restrictions on the availability, purchase, transfer, or use of the App, those restrictions control.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable app-store terms, and applicable open-source licenses form the agreement governing your use of the Services.
